| LOIS PECK, MOTHER OF JUDY NELON, PASSES Lois M. Peck, 91, devoted Mother of three daughters, Judy Nelon, Sharon Elmore, and Linda Harkins, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday evening, October 24, 2007 at her home in Anaheim, California. She was born in Sacramento, California, October 18, 1916. Her legacy came from the Deep South where she and her deceased husband, Rev. Leroy O. Peck, pastored many years in Georgia, and during this time Sharon, Judy and Linda (Sunshine Sisters) cultivated a lifelong love of Gospel music while they worked in their parents Christian Music Stores. Mama Peck, will be remembered as a quiet, gentle giant, and will be missed by her many friends in the Gospel music industry. |
